Mosaic Workshop

Mosaic Workshop offers a strong foundation and introduction to the wide variety of materials used for constructing mosaics. The instructor will cover design, terminology, substrates, adhesives, grout, and more as you are guided through the creation process of your 6” x 6” home décor mosaic piece. You will be introduced to classical and contemporary design methods, hand tools, and fabrication tricks. At the last class, you will grout your artwork. You are welcome to bring your own simple designs or you may create using an existing design. A selection of optional patterns and drawings will be available for reference. The supply fee includes all materials to complete your project and tool loan during class time.

The nine hour workshop entails three sessions. Sessions One and Two each meet for 3.5 hours during which you will be immersed in creating your mosaic piece. Session Three, 2 hours, allows ample time for grouting your completed mosaic.

Tuition: $240. All materials included.
